Approved Academic Calendar 2011-2012
In addition to these dates, there are other training days for staff. Children do not attend the academy on those days.
They are the following:
Monday 5th September 2011 (First Day for children will be Tuesday 6th September- Please note that Nursery and Reception children have a staggered start to the year. Parents/Carers will receive a letter stating the day their child will begin.)
Thursday 20th October 2011 (For NURSERY and RECEPTION children ONLY- Years 1 – 6 attend)
Friday 21st October 2011 (All children)
Monday 20th February 2012 (All children)
Monday 23rd July 2012 (All children)
There will be one additional date which will be confirmed with all academies within the School Partnership Trust Academies. When this date has been set, GLPA will notify all parents.
Please be reminded that the academy follows a process for application for holidays during term time. Information can be found here.
