Year 4 Residential April 2009

 

 

     11.30am Wednesday 29th April

Arrived safely, children gave a big whoop of delight on arrival. 

All bursting for the toilet. Sun is shining and the journey went well.

 

 

2.10pm

Been to the Roman Army Museum, had lunch.

The sun is still shining.

Walking up Hadrians Wall, looking forward to going to Vindolanda this afternoon.

4.55pm

On way to the youth hostel, spent up, tired out and very very happy!

Thursday 30th April

10am

Had a good nights sleep, very healthy breakfast.

Going on Osmotherley Village trail.

Weather fine.

                           1pm

Managed to miss the showers, had a lovely lunch.

Had a play in the playground.

On way back to the hostel for Roman activity afternoon.

Very good night's sleep.

Another HUGE breakfast!

All packed and on our way to Merton Park.

 

11:15 am

 

The children are due back 2.30 to 2.45.

Children are to be collected from 2.30 onwards from the junior hall.
