Scary Masks
Year 5 worked for 13 weeks to produce these menacing magical monster masks.
We used a plastic mask template and gradually built up the layers of Mod-Roc to create a realistic, textured finish that is unique to each child. We then used acrylic paints and a sponging technique to give each of them their own individuals finish.
Our main art focus for the mask project was texture.
