Girls' Football Club
Girls' football has just been introduced to Green Lane School this year on a Friday lunch time. They do lots of fun games to help them to improve their football skills and learn to work as a team! The girls football team is run by Mr Wheelwright who is an experienced coach, as he has trained cross country as well!
The girls who have taken part said that some of the most fun aspects of the club are the games like Cowboys and Indians and playing the matches at the end of each session. They all agreed that they were proud to play for the school against Strawberry Fields and only narrowly lost in the closing minutes!
